IcomProgrammer is a Ruby script that can program nearly any Icom radio with one or more user-defined frequency tables, including such esoterica as repeater tones and split-frequency modes. To use this program, the reader needs to have at least one Icom radio and an Icom RS-232 converter box (CI-V).

Can somebody give me some clarification on this?
This line was taken from a website with IC-F420
Specifications.
'IC-F420 -- 400-430 MHz, 450-470 MHz OR 470-490 MHz, 490-512 MHz'
Nowhere on this page is it specified with the last 2 numbers. ie. IC-F420-10
etc. Does anybody here know all of the possible 'dash numbers' and what
the 'dash number' means? What I do know is the last 2 numbers indicate
the frequency range. My radio is a -10 and I was told that it was 450~470 Mhz,
which seems to be true. So, please fill in the blanks for me
400~430 Mhz = IC-F420-?
450~470 Mhz = IC-F420-10
470~490 Mhz = IC-F420-?
490~512 Mhz = IC-F420-?
I did find a website that shows IC-F420-01, -02, -03, -04. WTF?
Also, I know there are IC-F420S radios. What does the 'S' represent?
I seem to be googling a blank here
